POEA Job Position: IT System Support Engineer

(ON SITE)

Location: Pasig City, Philippines

Salary: Php40,000-55,000 monthly basic

As a Technical Support & Escalation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing client-reported issues related to HPC (High Performance Computing), InfiniBand, Linux, and GPU systems. This role requires providing timely support during UAE business hours, ensuring quick response and resolution of issues through an established escalation path.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initial Triage & Response: Monitor and respond to client-reported issues via Slack within 5 minutes, creating and tracking tickets.
• Scope Assessment & Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to HPC, InfiniBand, Linux, Networking, Storage, and GPU systems to determine the root cause.
• Collaboration with Providers: Coordinate with hardware providers for remote hands support when necessary and escalate to the appropriate provider for hardware or storage-related issues.
• Escalation Management: If issues are determined to be software-related or out of scope, direct clients to the appropriate external service provider.
• Ticket Management: Handle an average of 20 tickets, ensuring proper documentation, timely updates, and follow-through.
• Client Communication: Provide consistent updates to clients via Slack and ensure they are informed at each stage of the troubleshooting process.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with HPC, InfiniBand, Linux, Networking, Storage, and GPU systems.
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues in high-performance environments.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple support requests during UAE business hours.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in Slack and ticketing systems.
• Ability to assess and escalate issues based on severity and scope, working effectively with third-party providers.
