POEA Job Position: Sous Chef
Location: United Kingdom
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Competent in Key Skills
- Ability to speak and Understand English to the IELTS 6.5 or Equivalent
- Level 3 food Preparation and Cooking SVQ or Equivalent
- Intermediate food Hygiene Certificate
KNOWLEDGE:
- Excellent Standards of food Presentation
- Familiar with food hygiene/Safety and Health and Safety Regulations
- Familiar with Stock Controls Procedures
SKILLS /ABIUTIES AND COMPETENCIES:
- Able to Manage the Kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
- Able to Priorities task and work under pressure achieve targets
- Understanding of HACCP Procedures
- Coaching Skills
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years Working in an Equivalent role producing a range of International Cuisines and banqueting.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- High Standards of Personal Hygiene, well-Groomed
- Adaptable, reliable, good timekeeper; positive attitude; enthusiastic and keen to learn; conscientious
- Committed to continued personal development
