Location: Papua New Guinea
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational Requirements Mandatory:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related IT degree Desirable
- MCSA or MCSE, Security+ CE Certifications
- Knowledge/certifications of ITIL methodology
- Knowledge of Firewall and VPNs
- Experience with Hyper-V Host and Virtual Machines
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar IT infrastructure position
- Experience in: Active Directory, DC, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS-R, RDS, WDS, NTFS/ACLs, Azure,
- AWS, PowerShell
- Knowledge of Branch Office Sites and interconnectivity across WAN
- Experience in MS Services and Failover Clustering
- Experience in Networking Routing and Switching (VLAN/WAN/LAN) including Wireless APs and Bridges
- Skilled in MS Exchange both on premises and online
- Skilled in MS Exchange both on premises and online
- Understanding of MS SQL and other database technologies
- Experience Storage Devices (SAN, DAS)
- Experience with Windows Server 2019, Windows 10 Operating Systems and Microsoft 365 Applications
- Experience with VolP and PBX systems, MS Teams
- Variety of ISP mediums, vSAT, PtE, PPPoOE, Fibre Optic
- Understanding of File System Management, Backup and Recovery services
- Ability to Undertake Projects – Installs, Upgrades and Migrations
- Experience with Provisioning Servers and configuration (RAID, OS Install & Administration)
- Familiar with Accounting, Payroll, ID Card, cCTV, SIS systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees to resolve issues, answer queries
- Be able to commitment to a 15-week onsite and 3-week offsite FIFO role
- Commitment to a challenging and demanding working environment
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and work cooperatively with other stakeholders to further develop the organisation
- Ability to prioritise and work with multiple competing priorities
