Quick Rundown:

We are seeking a Retail Store Designer to translate brand identities into compelling, functional retail environments. Working across a portfolio of brands, you will develop store concepts and guide their execution within defined budgets and opening timelines.
You will partner with our Director of Store Design, project managers, brand teams, and external design and construction partners to carry projects from initial concept through store opening.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop brand-specific store concepts. Translate brand goals, customer experience, and merchandising needs into layouts, mood boards, material palettes, fixture concepts, and design presentations.
• ​Design within real project constraints. Evaluate existing spaces and develop solutions that balance creative ambition with budget, fabrication lead times, landlord requirements, and construction feasibility.
• ​Lead design conversations. Present recommendations clearly, gather and consolidate feedback, and guide brand partners toward timely decisions and approvals.
• ​Produce clear design deliverables. Develop plans, elevations, renderings, finish schedules, and furniture and fixture specifications appropriate to each project’s scope.
• ​Coordinate external partners. Brief architects, outside designers, fabricators, and vendors; review their work for alignment with the approved design; and resolve questions with the project team.
• ​Support execution through opening. Review samples and shop drawings, respond to design questions, participate in site reviews, and identify corrections needed to deliver the intended experience.
• ​Manage design changes thoughtfully. Document revisions and flag potential cost, schedule, or procurement impacts before changes move into execution.
• ​Build repeatable solutions. Help develop preferred materials, fixture standards, vendor resources, and reusable design details that improve speed and consistency while preserving each brand’s identity.
• ​Support early project planning. Contribute initial concepts and feasibility input for prospective stores and new brand opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• ​Approximately 4–6 years of experience in fashion apparel, jewlery, accessories interiors.
• ​A portfolio demonstrating strong spatial retail fashion design, brand interpretation, material selection, and completed physical environments.
• ​Ability to move from creative concept to clear, buildable design intent.
• ​Familiarity with custom fixtures, millwork, lighting, signage, finishes, and furniture sourcing.
• ​Working understanding of construction documentation and coordination with architects, contractors, and fabricators.
• ​Proficiency in relevant drafting, modeling, rendering, and presentation tools.
• ​Confidence presenting to clients and explaining design choices, constraints, and tradeoffs.
• ​Strong organization and follow-through across multiple concurrent projects.
