POEA Job Position: Mechanical Fitter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• RSO static gauges qualification highly regarded

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proactively seek feedback on self; recognise own capabilities and take initiative to continually
  improve.
• Good troubleshooting abilities during engine/ mechanical breakdown
• Report any safety hazards immediately to your Supervisor, remove the hazards if it is safe to do so or make the area safe if it is not (i.e. barricading, signage etc.)
• Complete Take 5s and Hazobs on a daily basis and hand in to the Safety Advisor each day
• Attend and participate in all meetings (including prestart and toolbox meetings) and inspections where required;
