Qualifications:

• Has experience fabricating or working with heavy structural materials or heavy equipment.
• Able to weld GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW.
• Can interpret drawings in blueprints and know how to cut materials using plasma or oxy acetylene.

Job Description:

• Read & interpret fabrication drawings & understand welding symbol
• Select material & mark up for fabrication
• Cut materials using oxy acetylene, plasma, etc.
• Weld a variety of different steel grades making finished product
• Have experience with a variety of steel thickness – 6mm to 100mm
• Be able to weld a variety of techniques, including
• fillet welds, butt welds, vertical up, vertical down etc.
