Qualifications:
• Proven 2 years of experience as a Butcher or similar role.
• Knowledge of different meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking techniques.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for repetitive cutting and lifting.
• Certification from a recognized meat processing program is a plus.

Job Description:
• Meat Cutting and Preparation:
• Expertly break down carcasses and cuts of meat into various portions according to customer preferences and orders.
• Prepare cuts of meat for display, ensuring they are properly trimmed, labeled, and presented attractively
• Quality Control:
• Inspect meat products for quality, freshness, and proper packaging.
• Monitor inventory levels and rotate products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Customer Service:
• Assist customers with their meat selections, providing information, recommendations, and cooking instructions.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
• Food Safety and Sanitation:
• Follow established food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safe handling, storage, and display of meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation and display areas.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor meat inventory levels, anticipate demand, and communicate with the purchasing team to ensure product availability.
• Place orders for meat products and supplies as needed.

• Equipment Maintenance:
• Operate, clean, and maintain meat processing equipment, such as grinders, slicers, and knives, ensuring they are in good working condition.
