Qualifications:

• Male -21-40 years old
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field
• For Benguet Residents only: to submit Barangay Certificate
• 320 hours Nihongo Language Training from a TESDA Accredited Language School

The Association for International Collaboration of Farmers. Japan (est. 1952) and the Japanese Agricultural Training Council (est. 1966) were consolidated in an attempt to assure the further development and strengthening of the programs. As a result. the Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC), the incorporated nonprofit organization was established on March 30, 1999. The Council also conducts agricultural training programs in Japan for farm youths of foreign countries. so that they can become core farmers in their respective countries. The programs are conducted with the objective of contributing to agricultural development both in Japan and abroad. These programs are intend-ed to promote the international exchange of farmers and eventually to contribute to the world, peace and harmonious prosperity.

With experience in application of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizer to crops and livestock. Engaged in planting, cultivating and harvesting crops or fruits. Applying knowledge of horticulture based on market conditions. Determine the kind and amount of crop to be grown according to farming standard, weather, size and location of farm. Performs various duties of farm workers; attaches farm implements like plow, disc, harrow, drives tractor and setting up operating farm machinery.
