QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires Male applicants
• Must have at least Bachelor’s / College Degree
• Must have a minimum of 6 years working experience
• Can speak and understand English
• Capable of installing conductors and aerial equipment, and underground cables and equipment.
• Capable of installing and maintaining equipment associated with electrical supply such as transformers.
• Capable of maintaining poles and associated hardware, and continuity of electrical supply and street lighting.
• May undertake substation installation and maintenance, and specialised testing and revenue meter installation.
• Can conduct routine maintenance on the aerial and underground electricity supply network.
• Can attend to electrical breakdown and emergencies

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be an IELTS Passer or IELTS Exempt.
  • IELTS Passer – overall band score of at least 5.0 with a score of at least 5 in each of the tests.
  • IELTS Exempt – must have 5 years of full time study (4 years of High School plus at least 1 year of College/Vocational courses with passing grades)
