Oualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures.
- Good knowledge of financial systems, internal controls and strong MS Office skills including excel,
word and powerpoint. - Proactive approach to work, with an enquiring mind with strong analysis, numeracy skills and the
willingness to take ownership of complex/difficult tasks. - Organisation skills to manage people and multiple stock locations.
- Exhibit strong problem solving skills
- Critical thinking skills to establish action plans and routinely assess their effectiveness.
- Problem-solving skills to anticipate problems before they happen and handle them appropriately when they do.
- Demonstrated initiative and follow-through.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for directing and managing the tasks related to inventory management.
- Accountable for coordinating and planning all aspects of inventory control.
- To provide the necessary leadership that is associated with building as well as maintaining a strong
inventory management workforce. - Involves training inventory clerks, devising best practices for maintaining balanced inventory records
and keeping track of all company products and supplies.
