POEA Job Position: Midwife / Caregiver

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Female, 25 -38 years old
• Two years of experience minimum
• Must possess a short course certificate or vocational diploma in a related discipline
• Must have completed a course in nursing, caregiving, or midwifery

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for assisting with and managing patient care
• Examining and monitoring patient assessing care requirements and writing care plans undertaking
  care in hospitals, homes and GP practices
• Carrying out screening tests providing information, emotional support and reassurance to person
• Monitoring and administering medication, injections and intravenous infusion
• Writing records tutoring student midwives identifying high-risk patient
