This role offers hands-on experience in developing digital solutions such as client portals, AI agents, and workflow automations that support the operational excellence and innovation goals of The Back Room.</span></p><p><span><br>As an OJT, you will be immersed in agile development practices, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to ongoing automation and AI initiatives designed to streamline client interaction and internal processes.</span></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Assist senior developers in building and maintaining backend APIs and services for<br>internal tools and client portals.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist in developing and maintaining backend APIs, services, and client portals.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Support server-side development and database operations under supervision.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Help integrate systems with third-party services, APIs, SDKs, and AI tools.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Assist in building workflow automations using scripts or low-code tools.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Support authentication, access control, and secure data handling.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Collaborate with the team to turn requirements into development tasks and solutions.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Participate in Agile activities, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Perform basic backend testing, troubleshooting, and bug reporting.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Help maintain technical documentation, including APIs and data flows.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Learn and apply best practices in deployment, version control, backend technologies, and automation.</span></p></li></ul><p><br><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p><ul><li><p>Student currently enrolled in an IT-related degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar)</p></li><li><p>Basic knowledge of programming and software development concepts.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Interest in AI, workflow automation, and emerging technologies.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with backend development, APIs, and databases.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks.</p></li><li><p>Good communication and teamwork skills.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Core Perks and Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Free Lunch</p></li><li><p>Free Shuttle</p></li><li><p>Weekly Treat</p></li><li><p>Daily Allowance</p></li></ul><p><strong>Work setup:</strong><br>Onsite</p><p><strong>Work schedule:</strong><br>7:00 AM to 3:30 PM PH time</p><p><em>This role is open to Philippine citizens currently based in the Philippines.</em></p><hr><p>Know someone great for this role?
