POEA Job Position: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Australia

QUALIFICATIONS:

Have 10+ years’ experience in the area of steel fabrication.
Be self-motivated, proactive and have the ability to lead at all levels.
Have extensive knowledge and compliance requirements of Australian and International Fabrication Codes and Standards.
Have the ability to read and understand drawings (structural and mechanical)
Have excellent client liaison skills and the ability to coordinate contractors and suppliers where required.
Have the ability to produce required reports & associated documentation.
Be flexible with working hours and willing to work overtime and have a can-do attitude with regards to meeting deadlines & expectations.
Have excellent computer skills within the MS office suite of products.
Have an exceptional eye for detail and ensure a very high standard of quality in all areas of manufacturing.
Ability to use an ERP system.
Welding supervisor and/or Welding inspector qualification is advantageous.
