<p>Position Title: Senior NetSuite Finance Consultant</p><p>Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Remote – Philippines / EU Time</p><p>Role Overview: The Senior NetSuite Finance Consultant will provide senior functional expertise across Oracle NetSuite Finance, with a strong focus on Order-to-Cash (O2C), billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and wider financial processes. This role will focus on improving and optimizing the company’s existing NetSuite environment to support its internal business operations as a software/SaaS company. The successful candidate will independently own functional workstreams, understand business requirements, recommend scalable solutions, configure and improve NetSuite processes, and support projects from requirements gathering through testing, implementation, and ongoing support.</p><p>What You’ll Be Doing:</p><ul><li><p>Own and improve NetSuite Finance processes, with a strong focus on Memos</p></li><li><p>Revenue Recognition</p></li><li><p>Advanced Revenue Management</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Understand and support the order-to-cash lifecycle, particularly sales orders, billing, invoicing, and revenue processes associated with software subscriptions and recurring revenue.</p></li><li><p>Translate business requirements and operational challenges into practical, scalable NetSuite solutions.</p></li><li><p>Independently own assigned NetSuite projects and functional workstreams, from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.</p></li><li><p>Assess existing business processes and NetSuite configurations, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions that align with business needs and long-term objectives.</p></li><li><p>Configure and enhance NetSuite to support evolving financial processes, internal controls, and operational requirements.</p></li><li><p>Support complex billing requirements, including recurring billing, billing schedules, and subscription-based models.</p></li><li><p>Provide functional expertise across wider NetSuite Finance modules, including:</p><ul><li><p>General Ledger</p></li><li><p>Accounts Payable</p></li><li><p>Accounts Receivable</p></li><li><p>Record-to-Report</p></li><li><p>Intercompany Transactions</p></li><li><p>Multi-Currency</p></li><li><p>OneWorld / Multi-Subsidiary</p></li><li><p>Fixed Assets</p></li><li><p>Amortization</p></li><li><p>Month-End and Period Close</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Support Procure-to-Pay processes, including Purchase Orders, Vendor Bills, Vendor Payments, Vendor Credits, and approval workflows.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, IT, and other internal stakeholders to understand requirements and improve existing processes.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with NetSuite developers and integration teams to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.</p></li><li><p>Support integrations between NetSuite and other business systems, including Salesforce and CPQ platforms where applicable.</p></li><li><p>Perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot complex functional issues, and drive them through to resolution.</p></li><li><p>Support configuration changes, enhancements, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), releases, and production issue resolution.</p></li><li><p>Document requirements, functional designs, process changes, and solutions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.</p></li><li><p>Work effectively within a small team, taking ownership of assigned responsibilities while remaining flexible and willing to learn additional NetSuite modules and processes as business needs evolve.</p></li></ul><p>What You’ll Need:</p><ul><li><p>At least 5 years of strong hands-on Oracle NetSuite experience, with substantial experience in Finance and financial process configuration.</p></li><li><p>Strong functional knowledge of NetSuite Finance and the ability to configure the system to support business processes and internal controls.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience independently owning and delivering NetSuite projects or significant functional workstreams.</p></li><li><p>Ability to provide concrete examples of projects personally handled, including the business problem, individual responsibilities, solution implemented, and results achieved.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in at least two or three NetSuite functional areas, ideally including Order-to-Cash, billing, invoicing, Accounts Receivable, intercompany, or other Finance processes.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of sales order processing, billing, revenue recognition, and subscription-based business models.</p></li><li><p>Ability to assess existing processes, identify gaps, make recommendations, and implement practical improvements within an established NetSuite environment.</p></li><li><p>Broad knowledge of NetSuite Finance modules and accounting processes.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with NetSuite OneWorld and multi-entity environments is an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently, manage assigned priorities, and take ownership of functional deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Adaptability and willingness to learn new NetSuite modules, systems, and business processes.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain functional solutions and technical requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work collaboratively within a small internal team and across different business functions.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to research and understand the company’s business, operating model, and requirements, and to connect previous NetSuite experience to its environment.</p></li></ul><p>What Will Set You Apart:</p><ul><li><p>Experience working in a software/SaaS company or another subscription-based business.</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting sales orders, billing, and revenue processes associated with annual recurring revenue (ARR) and software subscriptions rather than physical goods or inventory.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in NetSuite financial configuration, process optimization, and internal controls.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Salesforce and/or CPQ integrations with NetSuite.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of the end-to-end flow from Salesforce/CPQ through sales orders, billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of NetSuite SuiteScript and customization concepts.</p></li><li><p>Experience with SuiteFlow / NetSuite workflows.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of NetSuite APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and integration architecture.</p></li><li><p>Experience with integration platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Coupa, Payhawk, Concur, or similar finance and procurement systems.</p></li><li><p>Experience recommending and implementing process improvements in an established NetSuite environment.</p></li><li><p>NetSuite certification is preferred.
