POEA Job Position: Sheet Metal Workers / Tinsmith

Location: Saipan

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min. 5 yrs. work experience required
• Fabricate ducting by sheet metal, aluminum or fiberglass materials
• Install pre-fabricated ducts used for heating or air-conditioning purposes such as ducts, control boxes, drain pipes & fúrnace casings
• Set-up and operate fabricating equipment and machines, soldering and welding equipment
• Assemble sections duct according specifications using slip joints or metal screws
• Cut holes in ceilings and walls as required and make cuts and bends in duct to accommodate
  installation
• Secure duct u’sing wires or metal traps. Insulate ducts by wrapping or inserting with insulating
  materials sSuch as fiberglass among others
• Assists ih estimating ducting works as required for a certain projećt
• Must be knowledgeable in interpreting plans and specifications
• Preferably knowledgeable in duct size calculation
• Driving skill is a must
