POEA Job Position: Social Studies Teacher

QUALIFICATION:
• Female applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education
• Must be PRC Licensed with strong personality
• Preferably: Major Subiect specialization must be indicated in diploma (Example: BS in Secondary Education Major in Math) – \Except for Preschool Teacher
• With strong personality skills in dealing with other nationalities strength in classroom management

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students’ understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
• Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
• Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
• Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
• Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
• Maintain regular office hours Documenting and reporting on students’ progress.
• Attending meetings with parents and staff during the academic semester to be available to meet with students individually when needed
