POEA Job Position: Paver Asphalt Operator

Location: Canada

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years experience
• Must have a complete documents
•  Must have A Vocational Diploma/ Short Course Certificate holder in similar fields.

Job Description:

• Operate equipment used for applying concrete, asphalt, or other materials to road beds, parking lots, or airport runways and taxiways or for tamping gravel, dirt, or other materials
• Includes concrete and asphalt paving machine operators, form tampers, tamping machine operators, and stone spreader operators
• Align the paving machine into position when receiving asphalt by dump truck; at times, maintain a
  constant flow of asphalt into the hopper; ease paver forward, safely pushing the dump truck along the construction surface
