POEA Job Position: Boat and Jetski Mechanic

Location: Turks and Caicos Islands

As a Boat and Jetski Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall mechanical
performance of our fleet of boats and jetskis. Your primary duties will include:
Conducting routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical
issues promptly.

• Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Repairing or replacing defective components and parts to restore equipment to working condition.
• Collaborating with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize repairs.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including detailed service reports and
  inventory management.
• Assisting with the installation and fitting of new equipment or upgrades.
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Boat and Jetski Mechanic, with a strong a knowledge of marine engine systems, electrical systems, and related equipment.
• Familiarity with a variety of boat and jet ski makes and models, including two-stroke and four-stroke
  engines.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
• Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are highly desirable.
