POEA Job Position: Pastry Cook

Job Description
To apply you must have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Pastry Cook, Baker or Pie Maker in a hotel or cruise ship
  • Experience in mass production
  • Experience in preparing and baking bread loaves and rolls, buns, cakes, biscuits and pastry goods
  • Experience in operating and maintaining baking equipment
  • Experience in checking quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
  • Experience in kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods, preparing pastry fillings, monitoring oven temptaratures, glazing bun and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing
  • Excellent English communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have at least High School Diploma.
  • The job requires both Male and Female applicants.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be 25 years old and above
